RBM ACTORS is a London based talent agency
representing a range of professionally trained actors and actresses in theatre, film & T.V.
RBM first started as an agency for comedians and writers and has signed such comedy luminaries
as Sean Hughes, Miles Jupp and Graham Fellows.
In 2007 RBM Actors was born and in 2012 Sarah London joined the agency as head of acting
and has expanded the list to include not only experienced performers but also some of the
brightest and best drama school graduates of recent times.
RBM has always believed that finding real,true talent is the key to success and the list is a testament to that.

ANDY DANIEL IS A LEGEND
New client, ANDY DANIEL, has been cast as MI6 operative MILES BYNG in two episodes of the FOX21/TVS/TNT series LEGENDS, starring SEAN BEAN. He'll be shooting in Prague between 22nd August and 13th September.


EMMA WEST IN STEPHEN FRY MOVIE
EMMA WEST has landed the role of MRS VANCE in the feature film adaptation of STEPHEN FRY's best-selling novel THE HIPPOPOTAMUS. The movie is being produced for THE ELECTRIC SHADOW COMPANY by JAY TAYLOR and ALEXA SELLIGMAN and directed by JOHN JENCKS.


RICHARD HUW SINGS GARY BARLOW
Proving his versatility once again, RICHARD HUW has been cast as JOHN in THE GIRLS, the new musical based on the film CALENDAR GIRLS, written by TIM FIRTH with music by GARY BARLOW. The musical starts rehearsing next month, with performances at LEEDS GRAND OPERA HOUSE and THE LOWRY SALFORD to January 2016 with a West End option. Looking forward to it already.


SIMON HAINES HEADS TO NOTTINGHAM FOR KISS
SIMON HAINES has landed the role of MATTHEW RUBINSTEIN in THE RUBINSTEIN KISS, a multi award-winning play by JAMES PHILLIPS based on the real-life 1950s case of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, who were executed for passing US atomic secrets to the Russians. This intelligent and poignant play is being directed by ZOE WATERMAN and opens at NOTTINGHAM PLAYHOUSE before transferring to GUILDFORD. Production dates are 7th September to 31st October.


KEYES TO SUCCESS
DAVID KEYES' newest film CAPTAIN WEBB is now showing at the Curzon Bloomsbury and ICA cinemas.


JUDITH COKE LANDS MASSIVE TOUR
JUDITH COKE has been cast as PRIDDY GOODSTERN in JANE WENHAM, a new play by REBECCA LENKIEWICZ, to be directed by RIA PARRY. Inspired by real events in a Hertfordshire village, this story of witchcraft opens at the WATFORD PALACE THEATRE on 23rd September before a tour of Suffolk and Essex, then residencies at the WEST YORKSHIRE PLAYHOUSE, LIVERPOOL EVERYMAN, TOBACCO FACTORY and SALISBURY PLAYHOUSE. The tour ends with a run at the ARCOLA THEATRE from 5th to 30th January.


SUSAN STANLEY SAYS F*CK THE POLAR BEARS
New client SUSAN STANLEY has been cast in the lead role of SERENA in the BUSH THEATRE production of F*CK THE POLAR BEARS, a new play by TANYA RONDER. Directed by CAROLINE BYRNE, the play will run at The Bush from 11th September to 24th October. Can't wait to see it!


JUDITH COKE FILM WINS AWARD
RACHEL AND THE WULF, a film directed by MARCUS HAWK in which JUDITH COKE plays a central role, has just won BEST SHORT FILM at the PORTSMOUTH FILM FESTIVAL.


CLEO OPENS AT THE MILL
CLEO SYLVESTRE can currently be seen at THE MILL AT SONNING, playing multiple roles in LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE by NORA EPHRON (of "When Harry Met Sally" and "Sleepless in Seattle" fame) and DELIA EPHRON. The play runs to 26th September.


JOE EYRE TACKLES RATTIGAN AT THE ORANGE TREE
JOE EYRE has landed the role of KIT in TERENCE RATTIGAN'S FRENCH WITHOUT TEARS at THE ORANGE TREE, to be directed by PAUL MILLER. Rehearsals start 7th September, with Press Night on 13th October. The run ends on 21st November. JOE will go straight from his latest triumph, playing ORLANDO in AS YOU LIKE IT in Oxford, maintaining his record of 100% employment since joining RBM.


IT'S ALL GREEK TO ELINOR LAWLESS
ELINOR LAWLESS has opened as THE CHORUS in BAKKHAI, a new version of Euripides' classic tragedy, at THE ALMEIDA. The cast includes BEN WHISHAW and the play, directed by JAMES MACDONALD, runs to 19th Sept.


EDWARD LEADS THE WAY
EDWARD WAY has been cast as HEFTY HUGH, the lead role in the forthcoming tour of WHAT THE LADYBIRD HEARD. Rehearsals for this KENNY WAX production start next month, with the UK tour running from 14th September to 2nd October. From 3rd Oct to 20th October the play travels to HONG KONG and SINGAPORE. A tour in Spring 2016 is also planned.


IRENE KELLEHER HEADS TO EDINBURGH
The lovely IRENE KELLEHER is off to Edinburgh with her fantastic one-woman show MRS SHAKESPEARE. Earlier in the year, Irene took the play to Stratford. The STRATFORD HERALD said: "Irene is utterly mesmerising...It is simply one of the bravest stage performances I've ever witnessed...Mrs Shakespeare is demented, brilliant and totally necessary." Can't say better than that! Dates and venue to follow.


HEY JUDE!
We're delighted to welcome JUDITH COKE to the position of ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR of RBM. As well as being a much-loved tutor at Guildhall (where Judith herself trained) since 2003, Judith is also a Trustee of TACT (The Actors' Children's Trust), Trustee and Board Member of the Orange Tree Theatre and Honorary Associate of the British Shakespeare Association. We know that Judith's wisdom and vast experience of all things theatrical will be invaluable to RBM as the agency continues to develop and grow.


NICK RICKETTS CURRENTLY IN THE WEST END
Following a successful UK No.1 tour, DEAR LUPIN, produced by KENNY WAX and directed by PHILIP FRANKS, is now at the APOLLO THEATRE - and with it, our very own NICK RICKETTS.


HOW DOES RHYS ISAAC-JONES DO IT?
Our wonderful RHYS ISAAC-JONES hasn't stopped working since he joined RBM. He's currently rehearsing a one-man show, written for him by TEN TEN THEATRE, and later this month takes part in the OLD VIC NEW VOICES new writing season at the OLD VIC, in JESS AND JOE FOREVER, written by ZOE COOPER and directed by DEREK BOND. And to cap it all, RHYS is off to EDINBURGH in August to appear in MOLLY, directed by ANDY WHYMENT. He must be due a holiday soon, surely?


RICHARD HUW GUESTS IN NEW BBC SERIES
RICHARD HUW has landed a guest lead role in the new BBC series THE CORONER, set in beautiful South Devon. More news and transmission dates later.


JAMIE RICHARDS LANDS MAJOR US COMMERCIAL
New client JAMIE RICHARDS has just shot a major US commercial - a great start to his RBM journey.


JOSEPH HARDY IS A DREAMBOAT
He's already done one Number 1 tour since joining RBM (The Hypochondriac, directed by Lindsay Posner) and now JOSEPH HARDY is off on another one, in DREAMBOATS AND MINISKIRTS, produced by BILL KENWRIGHT. This booking will take our Joe from 22nd June to 31st October.


ALICE COLES STRAIGHT INTO TWELFTH NIGHT
New client, radiantly beautiful ALICE COLES, has been cast as VIOLA in the OXFORD SHAKESPEARE COMPANY production of TWELFTH NIGHT, to be directed by NICK GREEN. Alice is rehearsing now and the production runs until August. She's going to be wonderful!


CHRIS LEVENS GOES UNDERGROUND
CHRIS LEVENS has been cast as THE WHITE RABBIT / DORMOUSE / KING / WHITE KNIGHT in ALICE'S ADVENTURES UNDERGROUND, produced by LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES and directed by OLIVER LANSLEY and JAMES SEAGER. The cast are rotating the parts, so Chris will play all four characters during the production period. The show is at THE VAULTS, WATERLOO and runs until the end of August.


JOE EYRE TO PLAY ORLANDO
JOE EYRE'S impeccable verse-speaking has been rewarded with the role of ORLANDO in the CREATION THEATRE production of AS YOU LIKE IT, to be directed by TOM LITTLER. Rehearsals for the promenade production in Oxford start on 29th June and the play runs to 12th September.


RBM WELCOMES JAK FORD-LANE
We're thrilled to welcome JAK FORD-LANE to the fold. Straight out of East 15, JAK appeared at the NATIONAL THEATRE in the NEW CONNECTIONS FESTIVAL when he was only 15 years-old. Fresh, witty and intelligent, we're expecting great things from JAK.


RBM CLIENT WINS CARLETON HOBBS - AGAIN
Following in the footsteps of our very own HANNAH GENESIUS, RBM client GEORGE WATKINS is a recipient of the BBC's CARLETON HOBBS AWARD. This means that GEORGE will go straight from his feature film debut in THE HUNTSMAN (see below) to a residency in the BBC's Radio Drama Rep Company, where he will gain valuable broadcasting experience in another medium. We wish him well.


DAVID CALVITTO BECOMES A CHRISTIAN
DAVID CALVITTO has been cast as THE ELDER in THE CHRISTIANS by LUCAS HNATH to be directed by CHRISTOPHER HAYDON. The play will open at TRAVERSE 1 on 9th August as part of the Edinburgh Festival and will come down to London for a run at THE GATE. More details later.


GEORGE WATKINS HUNTS DOWN MAJOR FILM ROLE
Straight out of The Royal Welsh College, our gentle giant GEORGE WATKINS has been cast as one of the four HUNTSMEN in THE HUNTSMAN, the sequel to SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN. Produced by JOE ROTH for UNIVERSAL, and directed by CEDRIC NICOLAS-TROYAN, this big budget feature, starring EMILY BLUNT and CHRIS HEMSWORTH, shoots from now until the end of July. Can't wait to see GEORGE strutting his hunky stuff!


MELANIE MCHUGH HOSPITALISED IN HOLBY
MELANIE MCHUGH has been cast as ROXANNE MILLER, a guest lead in HOLBY to be directed by DAVID TUCKER.


TOM LINCOLN OFF TO A FLYING START
New client TOM LINCOLN is straight out of the blocks on a 6-month UK tour with all-male Shakespearian company THE LORD CHAMBERLAIN'S MEN.


EVA FEILER IN STRATFORD
EVA FEILER is currently with the RSC in Stratford in THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, directed by POLLY FINDLAY, and OTHELLO, directed by IQBAL KHAN.


CERI-LYN IN PITLOCHRY
CERI-LYN CISSONE is currently performing in PITLOCHRY, playing the lead in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC and CECILY in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, amongst others.
