RBM ACTORS is a London based talent agency
representing a range of professionally trained actors and actresses in theatre, film & T.V.
RBM first started as an agency for comedians and writers and has signed such comedy luminaries
as Sean Hughes, Miles Jupp and Graham Fellows.
In 2007 RBM Actors was born and in 2012 Sarah London joined the agency as head of acting
and has expanded the list to include not only experienced performers but also some of the
brightest and best drama school graduates of recent times.
RBM has always believed that finding real,true talent is the key to success and the list is a testament to that.

NICK RICKETTS HEADS FOR THE WEST END
Following a successful UK No.1 tour, DEAR LUPIN, produced by KENNY WAX and directed by PHILIP FRANKS, is heading for the APOLLO THEATRE - and with it, our very own NICK RICKETTS. The play runs from 3rd August.


ASHRAF EJJBAIR FOR NATIONAL THEATRE
Our very own ASHRAF EJJBAIR has been cast in MIND THE GAP, one of a pair of short plays that are winners in the NATIONAL THEATRE's annual playwriting competition. Rehearsals start later this month with performances at the NT in July.


HAMISH BREWSTER IN WORLD PREMIERE
HAMISH BREWSTER, one of RBM's Young Actors, has been cast in THE GATHERED LEAVES by ANDREW KEATLEY, a play being given its world premiere at the PARK THEATRE, directed by ANTONY EDEN. HAMISH is joining a starry cast that includes JANE ASHER and CLIVE FRANCIS. The play runs from 15th July to 15th August. Can't wait to see it.


HOW DOES RHYS ISAAC-JONES DO IT?
Our wonderful RHYS ISAAC-JONES hasn't stopped working since he joined RBM. He's currently rehearsing a one-man show, written for him by TEN TEN THEATRE, and later this month takes part in the OLD VIC NEW VOICES new writing season at the OLD VIC, in JESS AND JOE FOREVER, written by ZOE COOPER and directed by DEREK BOND. And to cap it all, RHYS is off to EDINBURGH in August to appear in MOLLY, directed by ANDY WHYMENT. He must be due a holiday soon, surely?


RICHARD HUW GUESTS IN NEW BBC SERIES
RICHARD HUW has landed a guest lead role in the new BBC series THE CORONER, set in beautiful South Devon. More news and transmission dates later.


ANDY DANIEL JOINS RBM
BOVTS graduate ANDY DANIEL has joined the agency and has already brought with him a fabulous range of experience, including national tours of PRIVATE PEACEFUL (Andy played the title role), directed by SIMON READE and JOURNEY'S END, directed by DAVID GRINDLEY. We're expecting great things for ANDY, so watch this space!


JAMIE RICHARDS LANDS MAJOR US COMMERCIAL
New client JAMIE RICHARDS has just shot a major US commercial - a great start to his RBM journey.


JOSEPH HARDY IS A DREAMBOAT
He's already done one Number 1 tour since joining RBM (The Hypochondriac, directed by Lindsay Posner) and now JOSEPH HARDY is off on another one, in DREAMBOATS AND MINISKIRTS, produced by BILL KENWRIGHT. This booking will take our Joe from 22nd June to 31st October.


ALICE COLES STRAIGHT INTO TWELFTH NIGHT
New client, radiantly beautiful ALICE COLES, has been cast as VIOLA in the OXFORD SHAKESPEARE COMPANY production of TWELFTH NIGHT, to be directed by NICK GREEN. Alice is rehearsing now and the production runs until August. She's going to be wonderful!


CHRIS LEVENS GOES UNDERGROUND
CHRIS LEVENS has been cast as THE WHITE RABBIT / DORMOUSE / KING / WHITE KNIGHT in ALICE'S ADVENTURES UNDERGROUND, produced by LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES and directed by OLIVER LANSLEY and JAMES SEAGER. The cast are rotating the parts, so Chris will play all four characters during the production period. The show is at THE VAULTS, WATERLOO and runs until the end of August.


JOE EYRE TO PLAY ORLANDO
JOE EYRE'S impeccable verse-speaking has been rewarded with the role of ORLANDO in the CREATION THEATRE production of AS YOU LIKE IT, to be directed by TOM LITTLER. Rehearsals for the promenade production in Oxford start on 29th June and the play runs to 12th September.


RBM WELCOMES JAK FORD-LANE
We're thrilled to welcome JAK FORD-LANE to the fold. Straight out of East 15, JAK appeared at the NATIONAL THEATRE in the NEW CONNECTIONS FESTIVAL when he was only 15 years-old. Fresh, witty and intelligent, we're expecting great things from JAK.


RBM CLIENT WINS CARLETON HOBBS - AGAIN
Following in the footsteps of our very own HANNAH GENESIUS, RBM client GEORGE WATKINS is a recipient of the BBC's CARLETON HOBBS AWARD. This means that GEORGE will go straight from his feature film debut in THE HUNTSMAN (see below) to a residency in the BBC's Radio Drama Rep Company, where he will gain valuable broadcasting experience in another medium. We wish him well.


RICHARD HUW PLANS SEX CHANGE
RICHARD HUW has been cast as guest lead in an episode of DOCTORS covering the sensitive subject of gender swapping. As Richard is very male (and a Crystal Palace fan), this will be a challenging demonstration of his acting skill and virtuosity. We have no doubt that he will be utterly fab!


DAVID CALVITTO BECOMES A CHRISTIAN
DAVID CALVITTO has been cast as THE ELDER in THE CHRISTIANS by LUCAS HNATH to be directed by CHRISTOPHER HAYDON. The play will open at TRAVERSE 1 on 9th August as part of the Edinburgh Festival and will come down to London for a run at THE GATE. More details later.


FLORENCE ROBERTS IN SITCOM PILOT
FLORENCE ROBERTS has been cast as MEGAN in STRADA, a sitcom pilot produced by JAMIE MACDONALD. It shoots at the end of June.


SIMON HAINES IN DEMAND
Days after finishing a brilliant run in POSH in Salisbury and Nottingham, SIMON HAINES is back in action playing three roles (Obrad/Marco/Louise) in TOLD LOOK YOUNGER, a new four-hander by STEPHEN WYATT. The play, to be directed by SUE DUNDERDALE, opens at the JERMYN STREET THEATRE and runs to 4th July.


GEORGE WATKINS HUNTS DOWN MAJOR FILM ROLE
Straight out of The Royal Welsh College, our gentle giant GEORGE WATKINS has been cast as one of the four HUNTSMEN in THE HUNTSMAN, the sequel to SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN. Produced by JOE ROTH for UNIVERSAL, and directed by CEDRIC NICOLAS-TROYAN, this big budget feature, starring EMILY BLUNT and CHRIS HEMSWORTH, shoots from now until the end of July. Can't wait to see GEORGE strutting his hunky stuff!


RICHARD MASON PLAYS LEAD IN FEATURE FILM
RICHARD MASON is currently shooting his debut feature, DREAMCHASERS. The first of many, we're sure.


MELANIE MCHUGH HOSPITALISED IN HOLBY
MELANIE MCHUGH has been cast as ROXANNE MILLER, a guest lead in HOLBY to be directed by DAVID TUCKER.


LOTTI MADDOX KEEPS ON WORKING
Lovely LOTTI can currently be seen in the Brighton Fringe production of EIGENGRAU, a new play by PENELOPE SKINNER, directed by HANNAH JOSS. We saw her last week and she's wonderful! As soon as the run ends, LOTTI is off on a tour of WHAT THE THUNDER SAID, directed by AMELIA SEARS.


EMILIA WILLIAMS HEADS TO SCARBOROUGH
Fresh from her wonderful performance as LIZZIE BENNET in PRIDE & PREJUDICE, EMILIA WILLIAMS is heading to the STEPHEN JOSEPH THEATRE in Scarborough to play the joint lead in a new version of COX & BOX by Sir Arthur Sullivan and F C Burnand. The show features a modern second act, BOKS & COCKS by Chris Monks and Richard Atkinson, adding to the original Victorian one-act comic opera. The double bill, directed by CHRIS MONKS, is at the Stephen Joseph from 21st - 30th May, then tours until 20th June. We're looking forward to seeing her.


TOM LINCOLN OFF TO A FLYING START
New client TOM LINCOLN is straight out of the blocks on a 6-month UK tour with all-male Shakespearian company THE LORD CHAMBERLAIN'S MEN.


IRENE KELLEHER IS FULLY BOOKED
The lovely IRENE KELLEHER is a very busy girl! Next month she stars in THE TURN OF THE SCREW at THE EVERYMAN PALACE THEATRE in Cork, followed almost immediately by a new tour for her fantastic one-woman show MRS SHAKESPEARE. Already a huge success in Stratford, the play will now be touring Ireland before the Brighton Festival in May, then Bristol in July and on to the Edinburgh Festival in August. More details to follow later. The STRATFORD HERALD said: "Irene is utterly mesmerising...It is simply one of the bravest stage performances I've ever witnessed...Mrs Shakespeare is demented, brilliant and totally necessary." Can't say better than that!


IT'S ALL GREEK TO ELINOR LAWLESS
ELINOR LAWLESS has been cast in BAKKHAI, a new version of Euripides' classic tragedy, by ANNE CARSON which will be a part of the forthcoming Greeks Season at THE ALMEIDA. The cast of four includes BEN WHISHAW and the play, to be directed by JAMES MACDONALD, runs from 23rd July to 19th Sept. It's a fantastic showcase for ELINOR and we can't wait to see it.


JEMMA CHURCHILL TO STAR AT NEW VIC
JEMMA CHURCHILL has been cast in five plays as part of the HOARD Festival of shows at the NEW VIC THEATRE. Rehearsals begin this month and the plays run to 25th July. Further news to follow later.


ROBERT MACPHERSON OPENS ON BROADWAY
ROBERT MACPHERSON can currently be seen on Broadway with the RSC's productions of WOLF HALL and BRING UP THE BODIES. Both plays have already sold out to the end of their runs.


RSC PICK EVA FEILER FOR STRATFORD
EVA FEILER is currently rehearsing with the RSC in London before a move to Stratford in May, followed by a run to 2nd September. EVA will be in THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, directed by POLLY FINDLAY, and OTHELLO, directed by IQBAL KHAN. It's a wonderful opportunity for Eva and we wish her well.


CERI-LYN OFF TO PITLOCHRY
We're delighted to announce that CERI-LYN CISSONE has been cast in the new PITLOCHRY season, playing the lead in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC and CECILY in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, amongst others.
