RBM ACTORS is a London based talent agency
representing a range of professionally trained actors and actresses in theatre, film & T.V.
RBM first started as an agency for comedians and writers and has signed such comedy luminaries
as Sean Hughes, Miles Jupp and Graham Fellows.
In 2007 RBM Actors was born and in 2012 Sarah London joined the agency as head of acting
and has expanded the list to include not only experienced performers but also some of the
brightest and best drama school graduates of recent times.
RBM has always believed that finding real,true talent is the key to success and the list is a testament to that.

ELINOR LAWLESS AND JOE EYRE IN WEST END TRANSFER
Fabulous news that ELINOR LAWLESS and JOE EYRE will be joining the cast of KING CHARLES lll when it transfers from the THE ALMEIDA to WYNDHAMS THEATRE. Starring TIM PIGOTT-SMITH as Charles, and directed by RUPERT GOOLD, KING CHARLES lll is the Almeida's 4th West End transfer this year.


JOSEPH HARDY PICKED BY POSNER
Freshly-graduated from The Drama Studio, JOSEPH HARDY has just landed his first job - and what a cracker! He starts rehearsals next month for the LINDSAY POSNER's production of Moliere's THE HYPOCHONDRIAC, adapted by RICHARD BEAN (who was responsible for the huge hit, ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS). This new production, starring TONY ROBINSON, opens at THE THEATRE ROYAL, BATH, before a 6-week Number 1 tour. That's not a bad start to your career!

RHYS ISAAC-JONES continues his long-term relationship with the 10/10 THEATRE COMPANY with a one-man show that is currently being written for him.


ASHRAF EJJBAIR IN CHALLENGING SHORT
ASHRAF EJJBAIR has been cast as the lead in TALE OF TWO CITIES, a short film examining the dangers of extremism and radicalisation.


CARLY SMALLMAN STARS IN NEW WRITING PROJECT
The brilliantly-funny CARLY SMALLMAN has leading roles in two new plays, NICE TO SEE YOU and THE DRAGON'S HEAD, as part of the BAFTA ROCLIFFE NEW WRITING PROJECT this month in Edinburgh.


ROBERT MACPHERSON GETS A FULL HOUSE
In addition to his ongoing commitment to the RSC's WOLF HALL and BRING UP THE BODIES, ROB MACPHERSON this week shoots a high-profile commercial for Mecca Bingo, in which he plays a variety of roles.


OLIVER KENNEDY IN EXPLOSIVE PLAY FOR TNT
TNT THEATRE and THE AMERICAN DRAMA GROUP EUROPE have chosen OLIVER KENNEDY for the revival of their hugely successful production of THE WAVE, a play examining the roots of racism. The production will tour Europe and Eastern Europe before a three-week tour of Israel.


MADDY ANHOLT PENS AND PERFORMS CORPORATE
The super-talented MADDY ANHOLT this week shoots a corporate project project for OLIVER'S ISLAND (producer SIMONE RADCLYFFE) that Maddy has also devised and co-written.


MARIE-HELENE LANDS SWISS ROLE
Some puns are just too obvious to resist. The gorgeous MARIE-HELENE hasn't just landed a role but the guest lead in TATORT, a long-running and highly-rated crime drama on Swiss TV. Marie-Helene plays a Nigerian teenager in search of her lost brother - and she'll do it brilliantly. She shoots for 15 days next month and we wish her well.


ELENA SAUREL IN NEW C4 COMEDY-DRAMA
ELENA SAUREL has been cast in CUT, an exciting new comedy-drama series made for CHANNEL 4 by CLERKENWELL FILMS. The producer is JEMMA ROGERS and the 6x45 series will be directed by ROBBIE McKILLOP.


SHAZIA NICHOLLS DISCOVERS SECRET CINEMA
SHAZIA NICHOLLS has joined the cast of SECRET CINEMA's latest extravaganza, BACK TO THE FUTURE, until the end of August.


RICHARD HUW SHOOTS WITNESS
RICHARD HUW is shooting an episode of SILENT WITNESS this week. Looking forward to seeing the results.


JOSEPH HARDY JOINS RBM
We're delighted to announce the arrival of multi-talented young actor JOSEPH HARDY. A graduate of Cambridge University, Joseph trained at the Drama Studio - but that's just the start. He speaks Russian and French fluently and plays so many instruments (to such a high standard) that he could be on the Albert Hall stage as a one man band! He also happens to be a fabulous actor. This young man is one to watch.


CHRIS CURRIE OFF TO AMERICA
We're very sad to announce that CHRIS CURRIE is heading off to America to study Theology. Having just seen him in THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG we can say categorically that Theology's gain is Acting's loss. He'll be much missed and we wish him the very best of luck in his studies.


JULIAN DUTTON IN DEMAND - AGAIN
Having already appeared at the Royal Opera House and both written and guested in POMPIDOU for BBC1, JULIAN DUTTON is now recording a BBC radio series LEWIS MACLEOD IS NOT HIMSELF. Is there no end to this man's talent?


CHRIS LEVENS EXTENDS GHOST STORIES
CHRIS LEVENS has signed to extend his successful run in the role of SIMON RIFKIND in the Arts Theatre production of GHOST STORIES

CLEO SYLVESTRE has just finished filming for the drama-doc series, OBSESSION.


MORE SUCCESS FOR RBM'S YOUNG ACTORS
Following on from LOUIS DAVISON's continuing success in the West End producion of RICHARD lll, starring MARTIN FREEMAN, Louis' brother JOEL DAVISON has now been cast as JACK in the forthcoming Orange Tree production of THE WIDOWING OF MRS HOLROYD, directed by PAUL MILLER. The play opens 2nd September.


DAVID CALVITTO IN CAPONE TRILOGY
DAVID CALVITTO is currently in Edinburgh, performing in THE CAPONE TRILOGY, produced and directed by Jethro Compton


JOE PITCHER TO DIRECT MATILDA
Multi-talented JOE PITCHER is taking over the direction of the West End production of MATILDA. We wish him well.


PETRA MARKHAM BOOKS SEPARATE TABLES
The lovely PETRA MARKHAM has been cast as MISS MEACHAM in the upcoming SALISBURY PLAYHOUSE production of Terence Rattigan's classic double-bill, SEPARATE TABLES. Rehearsals start in September and the play opens the following month.


JULIAN DUTTON IS SILENT STAR
JULIAN DUTTON is celebrating a double success. He not only co-created, with MATT LUCAS, the upcoming BBC1 silent comedy series POMPIDOU, but he also plays a guest role. The series is going to be huge.


SIMON HAINES INVITED TO HOLLAND
Guildhall graduate SIMON HAINES has been invited to perform his own one man play ANIMALS AND CHILDREN at THE ENGLISH THEATRE OF THE HAGUE in Holland in October.


EMILIA WILLIAMS IN MOTHER GOOSE
The lovely EMILIA WILLIAMS has been cast as FREYA in MOTHER GOOSE at CHIPPING NORTON THEATRE, a wonderful venue that always attracts excellent casts. Emilia starts in November.


RBM WELCOMES CARLETON HOBBS WINNER HANNAH GENESIUS
We're thrilled to announce that HANNAH GENESIUS, who has just graduated from The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, has joined RBM. Hannah is one of the 2014 winners of the BBC's Carleton Hobbs bursaries and she has now joined the BBC Radio Drama Company until the end of the year.


RICHARD MASON LANDS LEAD IN FEATURE FILM
The crazily-talented RICHARD MASON has landed the lead in DREAMCHASERS, a feature film to be shot in the UK and New York later this year. More news to follow.


SUCCESS AGAIN FOR RBM CLIENTS AT MICHAEL BRYANT AWARD
Following on from EVA FEILER'S success in last year's Guildhall MICHAEL BRYANT AWARD FOR VERSE SPEAKING at the National Theatre, this year's joint runners up (highly commended by the RNT's NICHOLAS HYTNER) were the wonderful SIMON HAINES and FLORENCE ROBERTS. Well done to both of them!


RBM LAUNCHES YOUNG ACTORS
The agency has signed a number of young actors, who now have their own page on the website. LOUIS DAVISON (14), has been cast as PRINCE EDWARD in the forthcoming production of RICHARD lll at the TRAFALGAR STUDIOS, starring MARTIN FREEMAN and directed by JAMIE LLOYD. Meanwhile, KITTY RICH (11) has just finished filming two episodes of LEWIS for ITV, directed by NICK LAUGHLAND.


ROBERT MACPHERSON JOINS RSC
We're thrilled to announce that ROBERT MACPHERSON has joined the RSC in London on an extended contract for the company's presentation of WOLF HALL and BRING UP THE BODIES at the Aldwych. It's a wonderful opportunity and we wish him all the best.
